On June 26, 2025, the Asoka Creative Experimentation Fund (ACEF) was officially established with the mission to encourage research, creativity, and the application of intellectual property (IP) in the practical business community.
Founded by Asoka Law Company Limited (Asoka Law), ACEF aims to connect researchers, academics, enterprises, influencers, thought leaders, creative organizations, and communities in the fields of science, technology, and intellectual property, thereby contributing to the enhancement of national innovation capacity.
The Fund was established to promote the development of science and technology, with a particular focus on raising awareness of intellectual property (IP) in Vietnam and internationally. Its activities include, but are not limited to:
Publishing scientific and technological works in both physical and digital formats, including books, in-house journals, databases, websites, computer programs, and mobile applications, to build a foundation for IP education and public learning.
Organizing and supporting training courses on intellectual property to enhance the quality of human resources serving science, technology, and IP sectors within the company and the broader community.
Supporting research, experimentation, and creative models in the fields of intellectual property, legal practice, and legal education.
Sponsoring or co-organizing academic and technological projects with potential for IP commercialization and social impact.
Contributing to the development of a transparent, creative, and open IP ecosystem in Vietnam.
Conducting other science and technology development activities in accordance with applicable laws and the Fund’s strategic direction from time to time.
As a corporate science and technology fund, the Asoka Creative Experimentation Fund operates in compliance with the laws of Vietnam and was officially notified to the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City on June 26, 2025.

Law on Enterprises No. 59/2020/QH14 dated June 17, 2020.
Law on Corporate Income Tax No. 14/2008/QH12 and its subsequent amendments and guiding documents.
Decree No. 95/2014/ND-CP dated October 17, 2014 of the Government on investment and financial mechanisms for science and technology activities.
Circular No. 05/2022/TT-BKHCN dated May 30, 2022 of the Ministry of Science and Technology guiding the management and use of enterprises’ science and technology development funds.
Circular No. 67/2022/TT-BTC dated November 7, 2022 of the Ministry of Finance guiding the establishment and utilization of enterprises’ science and technology development funds.
Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on reforming financial mechanisms to promote scientific research, technological development, and innovation.
Resolution No. 198/2025/QH15 dated June 15, 2025 of the National Assembly on financial mechanisms supporting innovation-driven enterprises.
