    What are activities in science, technology, and innovation?

    Activities in science, technology, and innovation in Vietnam include:

    a) Basic research;
    b) Applied research;
    c) Technology development; development of social solutions;
    d) Pilot production;
    đ) Application and technology transfer;
    e) Innovation based on technological renewal, technological creativity, and improvement of technological performance;
    g) Innovative start-ups;
    h) Provision of science, technology, and innovation services;
    i) Initiatives, technical improvements, knowledge creation, and other related activities.

    (According to Clause 4, Article 3 of the Law on Science, Technology, and Innovation No. 93/2025/QH15.)

    Is ACEF a Science and Technology Fund?

    Yes. ACEF is an enterprise-based Science and Technology Development Fund, specifically a Science and Technology Development Fund under the management of Asoka Law Company Limited.

    What is a Science and Technology Fund?

    A Science and Technology Fund is an organizational model established in accordance with Vietnamese law to conduct scientific research, develop technology, or provide services in science, technology, and innovation.

    (According to Clause 15, Article 3 of the Law on Science, Technology, and Innovation No. 93/2025/QH15.)

    What is ACEF?

    ACEF (Asoka Creative Experimentation Fund) is an internal Science and Technology Development Fund under Asoka Law Company Limited, supporting academic, creative, and intellectual property (IP) projects.

    Is ACEF a Science and Technology Fund?

    Yes. ACEF operates as a Science and Technology Development Fund under Article 66 of the Law on Science, Technology, and Innovation No. 93/2025/QH15.

    Where is ACEF located?

    ACEF is present in two main locations:

    1. Vietnam (Fund Headquarters - under Asoka Law Company Limited)
    SAV3-01.06, The Sun Avenue,
    28 Mai Chi Tho, Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
    (The governing entity operating ACEF under the Science & Technology Law.)

    2. United States (ACEF US - Asoka Creative Experimentation LLC)
    131 Continental Drive, Suite 305,
    Newark, Delaware 19713, USA.
    (The entity receiving international sponsorship and managing USD/foreign-currency funding.)

  • Who can sponsor ACEF internationally?
    Does ACEF issue official receipts?

    Yes. ACEF provides official receipts and documentation compliant with Science & Technology Fund regulations.

    What forms of sponsorship are accepted?

    • Financial sponsorship for specific projects
    • Professional/in-kind contributions (translation, editing, data, events)
    • Communication sponsorship
    • Long-term or annual funding

    Who can sponsor ACEF internationally?

    Corporations, media organizations, universities, international institutions, foundations, NGOs, scholars, and individual supporters worldwide.

    How can international donors sponsor ACEF?
    How can international donors sponsor ACEF?

    ACEF’s international sponsorship process is designed to be simple, transparent, and fully compliant with Science & Technology Fund regulations.

    1. Register your intention to sponsor

    Send an email to acef@asokalaw.vn stating:
    • Sponsor information
    • Intended project (if any)
    • Proposed sponsorship amount

    2. Receive the Sponsorship Dossier & Benefit Package

    ACEF provides:
    • Sponsorship Dossier
    • Tier benefits (Diamond / Gold / Silver / Bronze)
    • Legal information of ACEF (Vietnam & US)

    3. Confirm your sponsorship tier

    The sponsor selects and confirms the tier via email.

    4. Make the international transfer

    Transfer USD or other currencies to ACEF’s U.S. bank account:

    5. ACEF issues confirmation & receipts

    Upon receiving the transfer, ACEF will:
    • Issue an official receipt
    • Send a thank-you letter
    • Record or publish the sponsorship (if the donor permits).
